After taking delivery of our new pitch side hospitality cabin, we really enjoyed opening up for the first time this Sunday for the Mini and Juniors who hosted Tupton RFC.
The kids enjoyed after match hot dogs and the parent could enjoy a hot drink and snack. It was great to see everyone congregate after to games to socialise and felt like a great step in the right direction us as a community club.
We were very excited to receive delivery of our pitch side cabin a few weeks ago. After a lot of hard work in the club, particularly from club chair Mr Ian Baker, the amazing RBS Containers, based in Hilton near Derby, delivered the 34ft cabin to us at our club site in Moor Lane.
The cabin is equipped with a kitchen area and a large spacious area for seating, so visitors can relax with a drink before and during the games. We intend to run hospitality from the cabin on Saturday match days and Sunday morning Minis and Juniors , and it comes equipped with a handy serving hatch to feed those hungry spectators for pitch side so you don’t have to miss any of the action. We intend to serve hot and cold drinks and a number of snack offerings and can’t wait to open up!
We are extremely excited about how we can best utilise the new facility.
This deliver is one of a number of improvements we are have made to the club site and will set the club up to provide more pitch side hospitality for players, supporters, parents and travelling clubs.
Delivery was overseen by a number of members of the club committee to ensure everything ran safely and smoothly.
